Paul Byles
Paul
Byles is chairman of the Editorial Advisory Board. He is
former Head of Policy at the Cayman
Islands Monetary Authority where he was instrumental in
drafting the anti-money-laundering
guidelines for the Cayman Islands
financial industry as well as in the
development of regulatory policy
for the financial services industry.
He is a former Director of Regulatory & Economic Consulting
at Deloitte in the Cayman Islands
and has worked in the financial
services industry in the Cayman
Islands for over 15 years. He holds
a Masters Degree from the London
School of Economics (LSE). He is
a member of the Royal Economic
Society, the Offshore Institute and
is currently Managing Director of
Focus Consulting, a consulting firm
based in the Cayman Islands.

Wayne Cowan
Wayne
Cowan has worked for over 20 years in the insurance industry. He has played a leadership role in the development of the offshore insurance sector, having recently held the post of President of the Cayman Islands Insurance Managers Association.

Alistair Walters
Alistair Walters is a litigation
attorney with Campbells. He is also president of the Cayman Islands Compliance Association, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of the National Society of Compliance Professionals. He has written a book and articles on financial fraud and has written widely on money laundering, banking, and regulatory issues. He has spoken at local and international conferences on the same areas.

Chris Rose
Dr Rose is a consultant to governments and corporations. He publishes in the area of e-business and international tax, and is involved in venture capital activities. His academic and professional qualifications include: BSc, MD, MA (Oxon), FRCP(C) and ACIArb. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Barrister (England and Wales). Dr Rose is deputy chairman of the Cayman Islands EBusiness Advisory Board, and is a member of the OECD Strategy Group of the Cayman Islands, Association for Investment Management and Research, the Cayman Islands Society of Financial Analysts, and the Canadian Bar Association.

Alistair Milne
Dr Milne is currently a senior lecturer and director of MSc in Banking and Finance at City University usiness School in London. He has been a lecturer at the University of Surrey since 1993 and served as an economic advisor at the Bank of England from 1996 to 1998. His previous posts included being a research fellow at the London Business School and senior economist assistant at The Treasury in the U.K. Dr Milne's qualifications include BSc (Cambridge), MSc (LSE), and PhD (LSE) degrees. His primary research areas are banking, financial intermediation, and modelling of business cycles.
